Unang binisita ni Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon ang Tubod Bridge sa Iligan City para tingnan ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon sa lugar na kabilang sa mga lubhang tinamaan ng Bagyong Basyang. Ayon sa DPWH, agad silang tumugon sa utos ng Pangulo na magsagawa ng on-ground assessment sa tulay at flood control project na dinaraanan ng Iligan River, para maibigay ang kinakailangang tulong sa mga residenteng naapektuhan ng bagyo.
